Meet the Team

  • Executive Director/Administrator

Allen Wong is a licensed Assisted Living Administrator with a rich and diverse background in geriatric care. Having grown up in a family that owned and operated a skilled nursing facility, hospice agency, and assisted living community, Allen developed a deep appreciation for compassionate elder care from an early age.

He is especially passionate about getting to know each resident on a personal level, working closely with his team to create meaningful, engaging experiences tailored to their individual needs and interests.

Lita Avilez Garayar

Assisted Living Manager at 3408 Beverly Drive

Originally a nurse in her home country of Peru, Lita worked in the oncology department, providing compassionate end-of-life care to cancer patients. Her gentle spirit and deep empathy made a lasting impact on those she served.

When Lita immigrated to the United States, she brought that same caring touch with her—proving that the heart of caregiving knows no borders. Her journey reminds us that true care transcends language, culture, and geography—because at its core, care is simply care.

A Word from the Administrator, Allen Wong

As I was growing up, I was always taught to respect and listen to my elders.  I was always surrounded by older people and have learned many wise lessons from them.  I grew as a man and as an adult from their affection, warmth and their life stories.  The elderly have made sacrifices and contributions to our society and all of us should respect and honor them.

My first job was working in my parent’s restaurant, working my way up from dishwasher to eventually manager.  I have since retired from the food business, but my love for food, skills in cooking, and passion for being hospitable to people are still strong.

After we closed the restaurants, I followed my cousin whose family owned and operated an assisted living facility, skilled nursing facility and hospice agency.  I started as his assistant and eventually worked to get my administrator license.  Seeing the insides and outs of the long-term care business further empowered my passion for assisting the elderly.  I was able to see how certain parts of the long-term care industry were under-serving the elderly.  I founded Beverly Assisted Living because I believe I can help the underserved elderly community in this way.

I have never been great at public speaking.  I have always been my best one-on-one in a personalized setting.  I love sitting down and listening to someone else’s life stories.  Some stories are even better than some novels out there.  When I bought the house to found Beverly Assisted Living, I aimed for a personalized, intimate setting, where all residents would feel at home and I would feel at ease knowing that my staff was able to take care of each resident to the best of their ability.

Why are we different?

We understand that there are a lot of options out there for assisted living facilities.  Before you choose an assisted living home for yourself or a loved one, we encourage you to make sure you understand all of your options. A residential assisted living community like Beverly Assisted Living offers the personalized care and intimate setting that you or your loved one deserve.

We keep things simple.  Two all-inclusive prices with no hidden fees and no charges for extra time.  Your monthly rate will only increase once a year, as I would like to reward my staff for their hard work and commitment.  Just think of us as an all-inclusive bed and breakfast assisting you or your loved one.   Come by and visit, ask any questions as I am always open to talk to prospective residents or their families.  Call us anytime if you have any questions, or fill out the form below!
